OSF HealthCare is committed to academic medicine and research to assist with the development of strong health care providers for the future as well as to elevate clinical performance by participating in clinical research.

Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, Illinois, and Saint Anthony College of Nursing in Rockford, Illinois, have shaped generations of nurses through a strong tradition of education. To provide for the continued growth of other health care professions, OSF HealthCare also supports a variety of clinical education opportunities, including technical training for histology, laboratory science and radiography and several clinical internships and residencies.
