Navigating life with autism can feel overwhelming, whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child or another family member. OSF Autism Pathways is here to make that journey easier. Every family’s experience is different, and our navigators specialize in helping you find the services that fit your needs. We’ll guide you through everything from questions about a possible diagnosis to finding the right therapies, school supports and community resources.
Thanks to the vision and passion of Sister Judith Ann, former major superior of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, these services are offered completely free, making it easier for every family to access the help they need.
OSF Autism Pathways is a free service that guides individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families to local resources that fit their needs. Our navigators support children, teens and adults by connecting them with the right services. We currently don’t provide diagnosis or ongoing therapy, but we’ll help you find providers who do.
When you contact OSF Autism Pathways, you’ll start with a personalized needs assessment over the phone with our navigation team. This conversation gives you space to share your questions, concerns and goals so we can understand more about your family.
After that, you’ll receive a personalized list of local providers and autism resources for children, teens, adults and parents that best meet your individual needs. OSF Autism Pathways does not provide diagnoses, but we can help connect you with services, both in-person and virtual, including therapy, diagnostic services or community programs. We’ll act as a link between your family and these services along the way, supporting and advocating for you at every opportunity,
Our navigators stay connected with your family for as long as you need us, guiding you through changes in care, school or life transitions. Whether you reach out once or many times, you’ll always have a reliable support system committed to helping you and your family.
Our navigators can help you access autism support services that match your family’s needs, including:
We also provide resources and training for schools, medical professionals and social service agencies to help them better support individuals with autism.
